Shelter Assistance

You must apply for Chapter 115 with our Veterans Services Officer in the town in which you reside. This is not a federal/VA benefit.

The Cape & Islands Veterans Outreach Center provides Single Room Occupancy housing for single homeless veterans. They also administer the VA’s SSVF program which also provides some financial assistance for homeless veterans, those who are in need of emergency shelter or danger of imminent homelessness and behind on rent.
