Veterans Affairs provides a variety of benefits, e.g., disability claims, educational assistance, healthcare, home loans, insurance, and burial/memorial services, for retired or separated U.S. armed forces personnel, their dependents & survivors.
Many Cape Cod veterans and dependents face housing insecurity or homelessness. You may qualify for housing related compensation under the Ch. 115 program.
If you lack consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy life you could qualify for financial assistance.

Can I get hearing aids or glasses from the VA?
The VA will provide glasses and hearing aids to veterans with any compensable service-connected disability, former Prisoners of War and Purple Heart recipients. The benefit is generally not available for the spouse of a veteran, other assistance may be available, here.
